Model railway clubs & SOCIETIES

Founded in 1975, the Eastbourne Model Railway Society has recently relocated and wanting to expand again.  They are currently building a 00 terminus layout "Rodmill Lane" and  restoring "Upperton", an N gauge Exhibition layout built in the late 1980's which has returned back to the club after mysteriously vanishing half a decade ago!  They look forward to welcoming new members to their tuesday evening meetings between 7 and 10pm.  Please contact Jon at  OR for more details.

The clubs Twitter feed is a great way to keep up to date with what they're doing - follow @EastbourneModel

Pevensey bay MRC

The club was formed in 2010 and meets every Monday evening from 7pm to 9.30 pm at the Ethel Wood Community Hall, Coast Road, Pevensey Bay (see club diary for actual dates or variations).

Several layouts are under construction which include two in UK 00 gauge and three in UK N gauge. The progress of some of these layouts can be found in our club layout pages. You can also see how some of our members are progressing with their own layouts in the member's layouts pages.

If you are interested in joining our club, or simply want some advice, then come along to Ethel Wood Community Hall on a Monday evening. You can always contact us for more information.
